Bottle God
A VR Puzzle Adventure
I’ve had this video game idea in my head for years, and explored it during a game jam with some friends. Though I moved away from this idea, it stuck with me, and I wanted to share it. Below, I’ll highlight an overview.

Bottle God is a VR physics-based puzzle game where players grant wishes to adorable beast folk across a wide range of environments
This great rendition of a terrarium is what sparked the initial idea for this game
Imagine stepping into a world where you are a god granting prayers for beast folk, wielding an awesome power. In this VR physics-based puzzle game, you hold an enchanted bottle, a window into a miniature world filled with hopes, dreams, and challenges. Beast folk inhabitants present a heartfelt wish, and it's up to you to creatively manipulate the bottled realm to fulfill it. Tilt, shake, spin, rearrange elements, or even conjure new ones, but be careful! The world inside is fragile, and one wrong move could shatter it entirely.
Players control bottled worlds, using physics-based mechanics to interpret and fulfill wishes.
Every bottle holds a single wish from a beast folk, and it's up to you to interpret and fulfill it using the delicate world inside. Success isn't just about completion; the quality of your solution matters, with outcomes ranging from brilliant wish fulfillment to disastrous misinterpretations. A well-executed wish earns high ratings and unlocks new bottles and more complex wishes. At the same time, clumsy or careless attempts may leave the beast folk disappointed, lowering your standing as a godly wish-granter.
Each bottle is a puzzle; players maneuver physics objects, weather, and the beast folk themselves towards a solution.
Bottles are more than just containers. They play a role in granting wishes. Thickness affects durability; thick bottles withstand rough handling, while thin ones demand a delicate touch. Weight changes movement, making heavier bottles slower and requiring more control. Color alters visibility and temperature, with darker glass obscuring vision and tinted hues affecting the world inside. Shape influences motion and even the weather inside; narrow bottles create chaotic movement, stirring up storms, while rounder ones allow smoother control and steadier climates. Mastering these, along with the properties of the objects and characters within, is key to manipulating each world without unintended destruction.
With hundreds of bottles, each featuring unique characters, emotions, and challenges, near endless fun awaits.

With hundreds of bottles to solve, each containing a unique and mysterious wish, you must adapt to ever-changing challenges. Some bottles require delicate precision, while others demand bold intervention. As you progress, the prayers become more intricate, pushing your problem-solving skills to their limits. Every bottle tells a story; each success or failure shapes your journey as a God granting wishes.
Bottle God is an adorable and relaxing puzzle game that VR players will love.
The question remains, can you complete the challenge of every bottle? With every prayer you encounter, you’ll need to adapt, think creatively, and refine your approach to overcome. Only those who truly understand the delicate balance of these miniature worlds will bring a smile to all beast folk.
Images disclaimer: The art in this article is AI generation with Photoshop work on top of it. I have an article expressing my views on AI generation. But, TLDR, AI gen does exist on stealing from artists, I believe artists should be compensated or given the option to opt out. For other articles that will be published soon, I am commissioning artists. The images here are a test using tools that studios are currently using and expanding their use of. As a character artist I have been handed AI gen images as concept art and that is a whole conversation of problems.
