Corey Johnson has contributed to award-winning games such as Uncharted 3, Uncharted 4, and The Last of Us. He also took on the immense challenge of leading the character art department for the ambitious Star Citizen. Beyond game development, Corey is a passionate writer, crafting stories, video games, and board games. This website serves as a showcase for his work across these creative endeavors.
Over Corey’s 16 years in the game industry he has worked on some amazing projects, from story driven to MMO to Rapid Developed Multiplayer.

While my focus was mainly on producing character art, I also had ethe opportunity across multiple games to drive multiplayer character art pipelines. Modularity systems, Outsource pipelines, and managing several in house artists.

Being a lead was a great fit for me, allowed me to drive a team and pipelines for our department. Key pipelines included Armor and Clothing modularity, Tinting system that is flexible for artists and optimized for speed, Point by point documentation for outsourcing, Overseeing development of a streamlined hair pipeline
